How do I find out what car dealerships are paying for their cars?

My point.
The dealers invoice price but being on the dealers invoice price they mark up big mac when you ask what price see my point.
For six pack of beer when you get to mcdonalds do you can find out their invoice price see my point.

Consumer reports will tell you what invoice is. They pay between 500 and 1500 below invoice if they do decent volume and its a car that sits on their lot.

alot of dealers use manheim auto auction when buying vehicles, but the information is not availible to the public.. Figure most vehicles are bought by dealers a couple thousand dollars below edmunds trade in value…
